FutureFlare is developing AI to investigate a specific question: can wearable data and patient-reported symptoms help identify an inflammatory bowel disease flare earlier?

We focus on Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. Our work brings these two sources of information together to study changes in disease activity over time.

We want this research to lead to useful tools for clinical studies and, with appropriate validation, physician workflows. We’re at the development stage and preparing for prospective clinical validation. Clinical performance has not yet been established.

Our founding team brings engineering, research, and entrepreneurship to the work. We’re looking for clinical and industry collaborators who can help us evaluate the approach.
